Sex Drugs and Rock N Roll

Should This Serial Offender Have Listed His Occupation as “Drug Dealer”?

West Palm Beach, FL—Serial drug offender Robert Phillips, 25, was cruising in a stolen car when he cut off an unmarked sheriff’s vehicle. Officers followed him and saw Phillips conduct a drug transaction. Marked cruisers then pursued him. Phillips abandoned the car and ran through a store, dropping a loaded handgun along the way. Finally, a police dog tracked him down.
On his person was everything a go-getting drug dealer needs: heroin, crack cocaine, a scale, hypodermic needles, as well as more than $2K in cash, according to UPI.  Although this arrest was Phillips’ 13th, he must have been feeling lucky: His arrest report lists his occupation as “Drug Dealer.”
